Initial Acupuncture Consultation and Treatment includes:

- taking detailed patient history and diagnosis according to principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine

- tongue and pulse diagnosis (if appropriate)

- establishment of a treatment plan and goals

- clinical acupuncture treatment (unless it is deemed unsuitable to proceed) using Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment modalities such as acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha, moxibustion, and bodywork techniques

- application of take home ear seeds (if appropriate)

- lifestyle advice according to principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Block of 6 Individually Tailored Acupuncture Treatments £40 each

40 minutes

A chronic health condition usually requires a course of bespoke acupuncture treatments at regular intervals to address imbalances that are at the root of the complaint.

Likewise, once a condition has improved many patients opt for individually tailored maintenance or top up treatments at 3 or 6 weekly intervals.

This block booking of 6 individually tailored acupuncture treatments provides better value for the patient.

Failed to Attend £30

To avoid a cancellation charge 24 hours notice is required if patients are unable to attend their appointments.

Follow Up Acupuncture Treatment £45

This treatment session follows the previously agreed bespoke treatment plan addressing the root of the complaint in co-operation with the patient

- tongue and pulse diagnosis (if appropriate)

- follow up acupuncture sessions are designed to use variety of suitable treatment modalities of Chinese Medicine such as acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, bodywork techniques and gua-sha

- application of take home ear seeds (if appropriate)

- lifestyle advice according to principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine

 

Functional Acupuncture £30

30 minutes

Restorative acupuncture treatment designed for every day demands and challenges of Western society.

This treatment is focused on general wellness.

Specific health concerns can be addressed in the bespoke diagnostic treatments outlined above .

Distal acupuncture points on arms/hands, legs/feet are used.

Auricular Acupuncture including NADA and Battlefield Protocols £30

Auricular (ear) acupuncture is an application of specially designed auricular needles or ear seeds to support the patient’s long term health goals such as:

- reduction of menopausal symptoms, as a part of a weight loss programme, to support smoking cessation etc.

- to aid body’s detoxification (NADA protocol), or to provide relief from pain (Battlefield protocol).
